摘要: Within the last two decades, several high-impact viruses have emerged in global swine population, including porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV). In Uruguay, more recent serological survey for PRRSV other notifiable diseases such as Aujeszky's disease (ADV) classical fever (CSFV) dated from year 2000. The main purpose of this study was to update our information on infection status PRRSV, ADV CSFV Uruguayan pig herds, order keep informed about epidemiological situation these infections country. For testing, a total 524 serum samples collected during period 2014-2016 were assayed by commercial ELISAs. Our results revealed (unexpected) presence antibodies domestic herds confirmed absence all assessed samples. Following initial finding, further investigated 23 retrospective 2010-2014. Thirteen resulted seropositive. Subsequently, molecular detection approach frozen implemented confirm infection, viral RNA identified reverse transcription-nested polymerase chain reaction (RT-nPCR). Fourteen 86 evaluated positive RNA, while analysis four also type 2. Viral isolation selected carried out alveolar macrophages (PAM) MARC 145 simian kidney cells, identity cytopathic effect (CPE) immunofluorescence assay (IFA) using specific monoclonal nucleocapsid. Data reported here evidence first time circulation 2 serology suggest that has been infecting pigs country at least since 2011.
