摘要: Abstract Endogenous technology scenarios for meeting low stabilization CO 2 targets are derived in this study and assessed regarding emission reductions mitigation costs. The aim is to indentify the most important options achieving targets. significance of an option indicated by its achieved reduction cost increase, if were not available. Quantitative results computed using a global multi-regional hard-linked hybrid model that integrates economy, energy sector climate system. endogenously determines optimal deployment technologies subject constraint on change. alternative comprise technologies: renewables, biomass, nuclear, carbon capture sequestration (CCS), biomass with CCS as well efficiency improvements. indicate availability espec. highly desirable goals at nuclear different: although it could play role primary mix, costs would only mildly be expanded. Therefore, order promote prudent change goals, support reduces and–thus–is from social point view.
