摘要: Purpose: The growth and metastasis of malignant tumors is largely dependent on angiogenesis. Angiogenic factors produced by tumor cells are known to promote aim this study was investigate which angiogenic factor the most important in progression neuroblastoma (NB). Procedure: relative expression levels vascular endothelial factor-A (VEGF-A), VEGF-C, basic fibroblast (bFGF), platelet-derived (PD-ECGF/TP) were studied 28 NB specimens real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase/polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). relationships between these four stage, patient age, primary site, MYCN copy number, lymph node analyzed. Results: High VEGF-A correlated with stage 4 disease (blood-borne metastasis). No relationship or found. bFGF, PD-ECGF/TP showed no correlation metastasis. Conclusions: Our findings suggest that VEGF-A, but not PD-ECGF/TP, may be associated NB. could a target for antiangiogenic therapy disseminated
