摘要: Growth properties of carrot hairy root cells in various bioreactors were investigated. A turbine-blade reactor and an immobilized rotating drum found to be advantageous for the culture because a high oxygen transfer coefficient (k L a). After 30 days culture, 10 g/l dry obtained both maximum growth rates (V m ) 0.63 0.61 per day reactor, respectively. Specific (μ) at cultivation times observed linearly proportional X/k l a bioreactor configurations where X is cell concentration. The estimated specific uptake rate 0.34 mmol O2/g hour compares fairly well with experimental value 0.3.
