摘要: With a view to producing biochemicals by cultured plant cells, extensive efforts have been made (for reviews, see Neumann et al. 1985; Bajaj 1988). Due unstable or diminished productivity of dedifferentiated cells in general, however, such success, e.g., the industrial production shikonin derivatives (Tabata and Fujita 1985), may not always be expected other species. In absence effective means circumvent bottlenecks associated with it would worthwhile scrutinize possible use differentiated tissues for biochemical production. Hairy roots described here well suitable tissue.
