摘要: Abstract Hairy roots were induced by inoculating leaf disks and stem segments of Duboisia leichhardtii F. Muell with Agrobacterium rhizogenes strains 15834 A4. Forty-five hairy root clones that had been derived from individual meristems established culturing for at least 5 passages in phytohormone-free HF (modified Heller's) medium. Characterization the showed there was considerable variation growth rate, alkaloid content productivity clone to clone. Clone DL-34, which produced most scopolamine, selection a number clones. Properties such as rapid accompanied extensive lateral branching, opine production high scopolamine stable DL-34 12 successive medium; therefore, culture conditions examined this After 4 weeks 25°C dark, its weight increased 64-fold, 1.8% on dry basis each optimum This 2-fold leaves D. plants. 78 mg/1 after culture. We show medium-composition are essential factors obtaining good production.
