摘要: Within about 10 days after inoculation with Agrobacterium rhizogenes, the vascular bundles of storage root disks turnip or radish developed small outgrowths numerous hairs. Thereafter, adventitious roots (hairy roots) emerged extensively from these outgrowths. The hairy which fully supported growth host plants, though they lacked geotropism. An excised could be subcultured as an axenic culture in absence phytohormones. Hairy cultures extensive lateral branches grew much more rapidly than those few ordinary roots. Calli were induced presence 2,4-D, and proliferation calli occurred 2,4-D. Both primary them synthesized agropine mannopine.
