A topography-based hazard map Europe, identifying low-lying areas adjacent to rivers, is presented used identify risk, together with land-use data damage-stage relationship for different land uses. covers entire European continent. can be determine level future using estimations on Hazard, Exposure Vulnerability from specific climate economic models. Annual average damage estimated regions, absolute monetary % regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP). results highlight regions where threat economy major concern.
