摘要: There is a growing body of literature shedding light on processes strategy making within public universities. Yet, to date, only handful studies have analysed the role that organizational identity plays in such processes. This paper addresses this knowledge gap, by investigating how mediates change across two comprehensive universities based Northern Europe. Our data and analysis reveal has potential provide organizations, like universities, with substantial flexibility during strategic processes, not as tool for legitimating eyes internal external constituencies, but also mechanism coping an increasingly turbulent volatile environment. The part recent re-discovering played more tacit dimensions organizations (culture, identity, logics, etc.) operating highly institutionalised environments.
