Hydrochemical evaluation of river water quality—a case study

摘要: Rivers are one of the most environmentally vulnerable sources for contamination. Since rivers pass through cities, industrial and agricultural centers, these have been considered as place to dispose sewages. This issue is more important when river main water supplying drinking, utilizations. The goal present study was assessing physicochemical characteristics Tireh River water. in Karkheh catchment Iran. To this end, 14 sampling stations measuring properties along two cities (Borujerd Dorud) were measured. results showed that (except SO4) Mg, Ca other anions cations concentrations under WHO standard limitation. Almost all samples suitable conditions drinking with regard comparison (FAO Standard), potential irrigation purposes. According Wilcox diagram, 78 % at C3-S1 21.5 C2-S1 classes. piper diagram shows bicarbonate calcic facies.
