摘要: Background The association between periodontal disease and chronic kidney in older people is controversial, evidence for a causal link function decline subsequent mortality risk limited. Study Design Longitudinal, observational, community-based cohort study. Setting & Participants were citizens 65 years or who received the Taipei City Government–sponsored Annual Elderly Health Examination Program during 2005 to 2010, including dental status assessment biochemical examinations. Predictors with defined by World Organization Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Need criteria. Outcomes All-cause cardiovascular estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) decline ≥ 30% over 2 years. Results Of 100,263 study participants, 13,749 (13.7%) had disease. In mean follow-up 3.8 years, all-cause rates those (11.5% 2.6%, respectively) higher compared without (6.7% 1.6%, respectively). After adjustment demographic characteristics, comorbid conditions, biochemistry data, adjusted HRs 1.34 (95% CI, 1.26-1.42) 1.25 1.13-1.41), respectively. frequency eGFR 1-, 2-, 3-years' was 1.8%, 3.7%, 4.0%, logistic regression model, ORs detrimental effect on participants 1.03 0.85-1.25), 1.62 1.41-1.87), 1.59 1.37-1.86), subgroup analyses according age, sex, risks remained consistent. Limitations may not be generalizable other non-Asian ethnic populations. Conclusions results indicate that factor 3 people.
