摘要: The regions around the human insulin gene have been studied by heteroduplex, hybridization and sequence analysis. These studies indicated that there is a region of heterogeneous length located approximately 700 bp before 5' end gene; 19 kb cloned DNA which includes 1430 as well 5650 11,500 after single copy except for 500 6000 from 3' gene. This segment contains member Alu family dispersed middle repetitive sequences another less highly repeated homopolymeric segment. this was determined. repeat bordered direct repeats also an 83 present twice. flanking rat I genes were compared heteroduplex analysis to localize homologous in could be involved regulation biosynthesis. homology between two restricted encoding preproinsulin short 60 side genes.
