摘要: We studied the emergence of vesicle pool organization at developing hippocampal synapses by monitoring recycling and neurotransmitter release as well examining electron micrographs. Our analysis suggests that presynaptic boutons go through three distinct functional states to mature. At onset lack readily releasable vesicles although they possess a can neurotransmitters under strong stimulation. In next stage majority these switches functionally docked state forms (RRP). After assembly RRP, new build reserve pool. mature size RRP increases linearly with increasing size. Furthermore, this preferential filling during early synapse maturation is reduced strikingly in deficient synapsin I II. Taken together, results expose mechanism ensures effective allocation limited number CNS synapse.
