摘要: The RIHN project "Human impacts on urban subsurface environments" aims to suggest improved development plans of centers for human well-being. This will be done by examining reconstructed past changes in environments, and developing integrated nature-social models. Subsurface environmental indicators are developed from the points view of: (1) activities; (2) climate change; (3) character social policies. Water, heat, material environments transport vectors being evaluated a number different approaches. Some these include investigating groundwater resources using satellite observations, reconstructing effects change urbanization thermal regimes, evaluating contamination patterns preserved records. In this overview paper, we describe current status Asia, water conditions, contaminant surface waters groundwater, anomalies due heat island effect. rapid pace Asia requires that develop better understanding how deal with impacts, both above below ground.
