摘要: Rapid urbanization in the Jakarta area has become a severe subsurface environmental issue as it entails groundwater level decline and land subsidence caused by excessive pumping. In this study, apparent age rejuvenation deep aquifer under DKI was found comparing 14C activities between 1985 2008. We discussed use of numerical flow model to evaluate process urbanized area. When considering area, we can assume six direction fluxes toward aquifer: two vertical (downward upward flux) four horizontal (northern, southern, western, eastern flux). Results calculations show that greatest flux among directions became ‘vertical downward flux’, which means shallower intrudes into one because pumping from mid-1980s. This grows about 50% during 2000s. result is consistent with detection CFC-12 SF6, functions an indicator young even groundwater. The ratio ‘R’ determined using activity groundwater; R increases concentration both good correlation. Furthermore, estimated flux’ at each well's screen depth estimation. greater urban depression especially parts aquifer, affects magnitude shallow intrusion. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
