摘要: The blood–brain barrier (BBB) is a that prevents free access of blood-derived substances to the brain through tight junctions and maintains specialized environment. Circumventricular organs (CVOs) lack typical BBB. fenestrated vasculature sensory CVOs, including organum vasculosum lamina terminalis (OVLT), subfornical organ (SFO) area postrema (AP), allows parenchyma cells sense variety information, osmotic ones. In present study, we utilized immunohistochemistry examine changes in expression NG2 platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRB) OVLT, SFO AP adult mice during chronic stimulation. PDGFRB was remarkably prominent pericytes, although these angiogenesis-associated proteins are highly expressed at pericytes developing immature vasculature. salt loading prominently increased OVLT AP. vascular permeability low-molecular-mass tracer fluorescein isothiocyanate significantly by but not conclusion, study demonstrates pericyte CVOs stimulation, indicating active participation system homeostasis.
