摘要: Several non-lethal deletions of the broad host range plasmid RK2 (molecular weight 37.6 . 10(6) have been produced in vitro. The method employed relied on single HindIII restriction nuclease site and ability phage Mu to insert thereby add new sites at various positions plasmid. deleted plasmids each case lost kanamycin (Km) resistance, two cases are defective self-transmissibility. used reduce size also results cloning ends DNA derivatives.
