摘要: Type I endometrial cancer (EC) is the most common form of EC, displaying less aggressive behavior than type II. The development considered a multistep process, with slow progression from normal endometrium to hyperplasia, premalignant form, and as result an unopposed estrogenic stimulation. role mitochondria in EC tumor prognosis currently emerging. This review aims explore mitochondrial alterations this hyperplasia focusing on DNA mutations, respiratory complex deficiency, activation quality control systems. A deeper understanding altered pathways could provide novel opportunities discover new diagnostic prognostic markers well potential therapeutic targets.
