Natural health product use in Canada.

摘要: Objectif : Quantifier l'apport en produits de sante naturels (PSN) au Canada. Methodes L'enquete d'habitudes alimentaires des Canadiens a mesure supplements sur 1 543 rappeles une periode 24 heures. La predominance l'usage etait examinee. Resultats Quarante-six pour cent femmes et 33 % hommes ont rapporte moins un produit naturel, avec moyenne 2,3 parmi les usagers. plus haute prevalence d'utilisation supplements, 57 %, ete reportee par âgees entre 50 65 ans. Ceux qui prenaient etaient âges, portes fumer percu leur etat comme etant meilleur que non utilisateurs. Parmi utilisateurs avaient haut taux d'ail vitamine C, alors utilisaient le fer, calcium, complexe B, la primevere du soir sulfate glucosamine. Discussion L'utilisation 38 nutriments 15 base plantes est similaire aux Etats-Unis, quoique differences dans rapport types soulignent aspects comportement consommateur ainsi difficultes methodologiques specifiques PSN. L'investigation l'utilisation PSN systeme importante evaluer donne repandue risques potentiels associes supplements.
