摘要: OF THESIS EXPLORING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL BRAIN TRAINING, STRESS, DEPRESSION, FOOD ADDICTION, AND WEIGHT Obesity is a complex issue; stress, depression, and food addiction, are several psychological conditions that can accompany an obesity diagnosis. Emotional Brain Training (EBT) was evaluated as new approach to these conditions. Stress, weight were assessed at baseline, after seven week active intervention, no contact period. The final sample consisted of 26 obese adults. At assessments, EBT participants experienced significant loss (p-value = 0.05) decreased perceived stress 0.035). Food addiction also from 50% 8.3% (or one participant). fourteen maintained increased the evaluation 0.012). percentage classified addicted remained constant weeks.
