摘要: This review summarizes evidence of "food addiction" using animal models binge eating. In our model sucrose bingeing, behavioral components addiction are demonstrated and related to neurochemical changes that also occur with addictive drugs. Evidence supports the hypothesis rats can become dependent "addicted" sucrose. Results obtained when animals on other palatable foods, including a fat-rich food, described suggest increased body weight occur. However, characterization an addiction-like profile in access fat requires further exploration order dissociate effect from diet or schedule feeding.
