摘要: A cloned mouse DNA fragment containing an endogenous “virus-like” (VL30 DNA) sequence was identified by virtue of its ability to hybridize the virus-like RNA component mixed-pseudotype AKR-murine leukemia virus virions, lack detectable homology with DNA, and hybridization a 5.6 kilobase pair (30S) cellular polyadenylic acid [poly(A)]-containing species. Restriction enzyme mapping revealed presence 5- 6-kilobase VL30 segment flanked non-VL30 segments approximately 7 0.3 pairs. Southern blot analysis organization in two nontransformed cell lines (AKR-2B, C3H/10T½) chemically transformed derivatives (AKR-MCA, C3H/MCA-58) 15 20 bands organized apparent strain-specific pattern. Within given strain, however, no differences were between cells their counterparts. The expression genes above assayed 32P-labeled poly(A)-containing polysomal several internal restriction fragments derived from sequence. level enhanced 10-fold both as compared (under normal growth conditions). In addition, AKR-2B maintained purified epidermal factor exhibited similarly levels sequences RNA. Since these display characteristics but, factor-dependent completely reversible fashion, data suggest that is not simply incidental but may be related alterations control.
