摘要: The initiation of mitosis requires the activation M‐phase promoting factor (MPF). MPF and its subcellular localization are dependent on phosphorylation state components, cdc2 cyclin B1. In a two‐hybrid screen using bait protein to mimic phosphorylated B1, we identified novel interaction between B1 patched1 (ptc1), tumor suppressor associated with basal cell carcinoma (BCC). Ptc1 interacted specifically constitutively derivatives was able alter their normal localization. Furthermore, addition ptc1 ligand, sonic hedgehog (shh), disrupts this allows localize nucleus. Expression in 293T cells inhibitory proliferation; inhibition could be relieved by coexpression derivative that localizes nucleus not interact due phosphorylation‐site mutations Ala. addition, demonstrate endogenous vivo . findings reported here participates determining suggest link activity regulation division. Thus, propose G 2 /M checkpoint regulating MPF.
