摘要: Models of carcinogenesis have developed from extensive observation clinical and experimental systems. (This summary is based on Pitot, 1981.) The related concepts promotion progression describe an essential feature carcinogenesis, the gradual change a normal cell to tumor composed proliferating, invading, metastasizing cells. Promotion conversion undetectable initiated cells tumors without continuing action carcinogen. requires distinct agents involves both proliferation gradually changing properties. In other words, process by which evolves state homeostatically regulated inadequately proliferation. However, appearance not really endpoint in this process, more general term, progression, refers continuous evolution characters before after has formed.
