Estrogenization in Women with Postmenopausal Ovarian Hyperthecosis

摘要: The cases of two women who show postmenopausal bleeding and signs endogenous estrogen production are presented. At laparotomy, ovarian hyperthecosis was found confirmed histologically. Determination 17 beta-estradiol concentrations in peripheral veins suggested that these ovaries actively secreted excessive estrogens. Ovarian is discussed as a cause renewed activity the women.
