All groups used various combinations communication technologies such as e-mail, web-based message boards videoconferencing order to engage on-line exchanges with different partner Ireland USA. The research was aimed establishing, firstly, how virtual intercultural contact can contribute development communicative competence, secondly, what skills knowledge both students teachers need successfully this complex learning activity. revealed that success often depends on their appropriate integration into language classroom it is necessary reassess role teacher telecollaborative exchanges.
