摘要: Barrett's esophagus has gained increased clinical attention because of its association with esophageal adenocarcinoma, a cancer increasing incidence and poor survival rates. The goals ablating are to decrease rates improve overall quality life. Different techniques have been developed tested for their effectiveness eradicating epithelium. This review assesses the literature associated different ablative techniques. safety efficacy discussed. concludes recommendations clinician, including specific strategies patient care decisions patients varying degrees dysplasia.
