摘要: Background Previous studies have investigated the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) located in microRNAs (miRNAs) and breast cancer susceptibility; however, because of their limited statistical power, many discrepancies are revealed these studies. The meta-analysis presented here aimed to identify characterize roles miRNA SNPs risk, evaluate associations miR-146a rs2910164, miR-196a rs11614913 miR-499 rs3746444 with susceptibility, respectively. Methodology/principal findings PubMed Embases databases were searched updated 31(st) December, 2012. complete data from case-control for analyzed by odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) reveal miRNAs susceptibility. Totally, six rs2910164 miR-146a, involving 4225 cases 4469 controls; eight miR-196a, 4110 5100 three miR-499, 2588 3260 controls, meta-analysis. (TT+CT) genotype miR-196a2 was be associated a decreased susceptibility compared CC genotypes (OR = 0.906, CI: 0.825-0.995, P 0.039); no significant observed (or miR-499) Conclusions This demonstrates compelling evidence that increases which provides useful information early diagnosis prevention cancer.
