Vestibular investigations in acoustic neuroma.

摘要: Forty-eight patients with surgically proven acoustic neuroma were examined preoperatively a comprehensive battery of vestibular tests. In 87% the patients, reduced caloric responses measured on side lesion. 60% non-responsive labyrinth was found. Spontaneous nystagmus observed in 29% patients. A significant correlation size tumour found occurrence abnormal saccades calibration test, pathological smooth pursuit movements and gaze nystagmus, respectively. There no between magnitude response reduction mean hearing loss, which suggests that loss function do not occur synchronously.
