摘要: Aims: To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of polyclonal monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) against intimin in detection enteropathogenic enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli isolates using immunoblotting. Methods Results: Polyclonal Mabs intimin-conserved region were raised, their reactivities compared E. coli (EPEC) (EHEC) immunoblotting analysis. In comparison with rat antiserum, rabbit anti-intimin IgG-enriched fraction had a stronger recognition pattern to wide spectrum types different EPEC EHEC serotypes. On other hand, murine IgG2b specific intimin, dissociation constant 1·3 × 10−8 mol l−1, failed some these isolates. Conclusion: All employed showed 100% specificity, not reacting any eae-negative isolates. The range was according antisera, 97% for fraction, followed by 92% 78% antisera Mab. Significance Impact Study: analysis is useful tool diagnoses.
