摘要: Activation of coagulation is a normal component the acute inflammatory response. Inflammatory cytokines initiate events locally at sites inflammation by converting endothelium from an antithrombotic surface to prothrombotic surface; stimulating tissue factor production, which activates both extrinsic and intrinsic systems; production platelet-activating factors. The fibrinolytic system initially activated but subsequently inhibited. This results in marked imbalance fibrinolysis resulting net procoagulant state. When thrombin generation platelet activation exceed body's capacity inactivate or remove these factors, disseminated intravascular (DIC) results. DIC directly contributes multiple organ failure death associated with sepsis. Presently available treatments (i.e., heparin aspirin) are relatively ineffective treating DIC; however, newer, more potent drugs may soon be for clinical use.
