摘要: Abstract Purpose To determine both the efficacy and safety of topical application 50 mg penicillin G potassium troches (Cankercillin™) in treatment minor recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS). Study design The investigation used a phase 2 double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled trial with no-treatment arm. Subjects ulcers duration Results Thirty-one, 33, 36 subjects were to active treatment, placebo, arms, respectively. Baseline findings heterogeneous across arms. who received had complete ulcer healing pain relief significantly earlier than those placebo No allergic reactions observed. Conclusions Topical G, by mechanisms which remain unclear, reduces time minimal concerns. Larger 3 studies are necessary confirm these findings.
