摘要: Academic management theory has a serious utilization problem. This article argues that it stands better chance of being adopted for instrumental use if the is based on paradigm “design sciences”, like medicine or engineering. Most academic research “explanatory physics. The mission these sciences to describe, explain and predict, while core design develop “tested grounded technological rules”. applied I discuss potential solving its utility problem by combining both types research.
