摘要: The evaluation, initial treatment, and definitive reconstruction of open fractures the hand with associated soft tissue loss are reviewed. Specific attention is given to literature on fracture antibiotic prophylaxis in hand; timing bone reconstruction; options for coverage, including local, regional, distant transfer. Factors that have shown association outcomes these injuries also discussed, authors' preferred management summarized.
