摘要: The paper describes the effects of various regimens lithium chloride treatment on dexamethasone-induced increases in brain polyamine metabolizing enzymes. In contrast to peripheral tissues where acute suppresses increase ornithine decarboxylase activity, only chronic was effective preventing this and also activities S-adenosylmethionine spermidine/spermine N1-acetyltransferase. This findings indicate a novel target for lithium's action turn provide new avenues exploring function brain.
