摘要: The involvement of the basal ganglia in motor control is well documented, particularly its association with neurological disorders, Parkinson’ s disease (PD) and Huntington’ (HD). It dorsal that most affected these diseases. In contrast, ventral (the striatum [VS] pallidum [VP]) are associated mental health problems including schizophrenia drug abuse addiction (1–5). Taken as a whole, ganglia, both components, involved motor, cognitive, limbic functions. These functions thought to be contained separate, segregated corticobasal circuits (6). However, although severe motoric dysfunctions striatum, emotional, motivational VS diseases effecting striatal regions often have mixed set (7–15). For example, earliest detectable symptoms PD patients occur on cognitive tasks requiring attentional set-shifting organizational skills use working memory. Thus, different various functions, whole operates concert cortex mediating overall behavioral responses. This involves complex coordination motivational, elements.
