摘要: Streptococcus pneumoniae is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Virulence-associated proteins common conserved among all capsular types now represent the best strategy to combat pneumococcal infections. Our aim was identify targets in pneumococci that showed positive prediction for lipoprotein extracellular subcellular location using bioinformatics programs verify distribution degree conservation these pneumococci. These can be considered potential vaccine candidate evaluated future. A set 13 were analyzed confirmed presence tested. genes highly showing around >96 % amino acid nucleotide identity, but they also present show high identity closely related species mitis, oralis, pseudopneumoniae. S. oralis clusters away from pneumoniae, while pseudopneumoniae mitis cluster closer. The divergence between selected too small observed consistently phylogenetic groups genomes pneumoniae. fulfill two initial criteria candidate: are variety different strains including serotypes samples evaluated.
