Prévention des seconds cancers primaires par supplémentation vitaminique chez les patients traités pour un cancer ORL

摘要: Resume La survie des patients traites pour un cancer ORL de stade precoce est souvent compromise par la survenue d'un deuxieme primaire. Des etudes experimentales chez l'animal et donnees epidemiologiques suggerent que les vitamines antioxydantes, en particulier le β-carotene l'alpha-tocopherol, pourraient prevenir ces seconds cancers. Un essai clinique randomise double insu cours au Canada evaluer si une supplementation combinant (30 mg/j) l'alpha-tocopherol (400 UI/j) diminue l'incidence cancers radiotherapie premier ORL.
