摘要: The exponential growth in the knowledge base for radioactive waste management is a cause concern many national programmes. In Japan, this problem exacerbated by volunteering approach to siting of deep geological repository, which requires particular flexibility tailoring site characterisation plans, repository concepts and associated Performance Assessments (PAs). Recognition situation led, 2005, initiation Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) an ambitious project develop advanced Knowledge Management System (KMS) aimed facilitate its role as supplier background R&D support both regulators implementers disposal. paper will review progress date work, with emphasis on existing Engineering tools methods requirements, outline future developments challenges.
