摘要: Reproductive accessory glands of male insects facilitate transfer sperm to the females. The heterogeneous products these include both seminal fluids and paraseminal structures. secretions vary widely in physical properties, biochemical composition, physiological function. Secretions low viscosity bathe sperm. Within that fluid mixture are components which promote maturation, provide nourishment for stored sperm, contribute nutrients investment into egg yolk, or modulate behavior physiology female (Leopold, 1976). higher solidify become copulatory plugs (Bishop, 1920; Bairate Perotti, 1970) complex spermatophores (Tuzet, 1977). These organized secretory masses composed several distinct zones form as glandular flow over one another extracellular space.
