摘要: Eight of 9 Mute swans (Cygnus olor) untied in the river acrossing central part Tottori-city died within period 40 days summer 1989. Seven 8 were pathologically examined. In all many yellowish-brown to greenish-brown granules found cytoplasm hepatocytes. The intensely stained with rhodanine copper stain, schmorl method, and Berlin blue stain. Ultrastructurally, lysosomes increased size density Other three swans, that at other places, served as controls. control brown method stain also hepatocytes, but number rhodanine-positive fewer than those affected cases. X-ray qualitative analysis showed peaks corresponding copper, zinc sodium liver swans. Quantitative demonstrated mean hepatic concentration group was significantly higher (P<0.01). From these findings, we concluded 7 poisoning.
