摘要: CAWS (Candida albicans water-soluble extracellular polysaccharide fraction) is a mannoprotein-β-glucan complex obtained from the culture supernatant following of pathogenic Candida in completely synthetic medium. administered intraperitoneally induces vasculitis mice, however, intravenously, it causes lethal shock. The acute reaction to occurs within 1 h intravenous administration, with mice demonstrating anaphylactic shock-like symptoms including convulsion, diarrhea, and collapse. In this study, we analyzed factors involved effect. We examined physiologically active substances believed be shock, found that effect could inhibited by blocking histamine, serotonin, platelet activating factor (PAF) simultaneously, but only one. This finding strongly suggests result simultaneous production several substances.
