摘要: A study has been made of the atmospheric-pressure Penning ionization (APPeI) aliphatic hydrocarbons (pentane, hexane, heptane, and octane) with long-lived rare gas atoms (Rg*). The metastable (He*, Ne*, Ar* Kr*) were generated by negative-mode corona discharge gases. In Rg*APPeI mass spectra for hyrocarbons, relative abundances fragment ions found to increase in order He* --> Ne* Kr*. is opposite direction internal energies Rg*. less fragmentation observed may be because nascent molecular [M(+.)]* formed have lifetimes long enough them collisionally deactivated ion source. It was that Ar*APPeI increased when sample pressure source reduced. This attributed collision followed fragmentation.
