Protein translation in mammalian sperm.

摘要: Our recent work has shown for the first time translation of nuclear-encoded proteins in mammalian spermatozoa. We demonstrate that several sperm are degraded after a relatively long period incubation, and some these resynthesised when were incubated under capacitation conditions. In present study using specific antisenses we demonstrated significant reduction level inhibition motility, actin polymerization acrosome reaction. Thus, this further supports our previous notion regarding synthesis during capacitation.
