摘要: A plethora of statistical models have recently been developed to estimate components population genetic history. Very few these methods, however, adequately evaluated for their performance in accurately estimating parameters interest. In this paper, we continue a research program evaluation methods through computer simulation. Specifically, examine the software MIGRATEE - N 1.6.8 and test accuracy diversity (Θ ), migration rates, confidence intervals. We simulated nucleotide sequence data under neutral coalescent model with lengths 500 bp 1000 bp, three different per site Θ values (0.00025, 0.0025, 0.025) crossed four rates (0.0000025, 0.025, 0.25, 2.5) construct evolutionary trees per-combination per-sequence-length. found that while performs reasonably well it does poorly at intervals associated them. recommend researchers use caution conditions similar those used evaluation.
