摘要: Lithuanian wolves form part of the larger Baltic population, distribution which is continuous across region. In this paper, we evaluate genetic diversity wolf population using mitochondrial DNA analysis and 29 autosomal microsatellite loci. Analysis mtDNA control region (647 bp) revealed 5 haplotypes distributed among individuals high haplotype (0.658). Two were country, whilst others restricted to eastern Lithuania. microsatellites heterozygosity (HE=0.709) no evidence for a recent bottleneck. Using detection first generation migrants, four appeared assign better with populations genetically differentiated from those resident in These immigrants males carrying rare encountered indicates that Lithuania subject immigration populations. Additionally, did not detect any signs hybridisation dogs.
