摘要: This work represents the most extensive genetic study of grey wolf (Canis lupus Linnaeus, 1758) in Arabia and first considering data from multiple locations within Saudi Arabia. Previous suggestion occurrence two subspecies wolves is not supported by this study. The evidence suggests that are genetically variable more closely related to Eurasian Canis group (dog included) than Indian C. l. pallipes. diversity observed for indicates subspecific status arabs should be retained Arabian wolf.
