摘要: SUMMARY: Organic and inorganic pollution can impact organisms directly affect condition, growth survival of juvenile fish which use estuaries as nurseries, thereby marine adult populations quantitatively qualitatively. Trace element contamination (Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb) in juveniles commercial Solea solea, senegalensis, Platichthys flesus, Diplodus vulgaris Dicentrarchus labrax collected putative nurseries the main Portuguese (with diverse intensities sources anthropogenic pressures) was determined via atomic absorption spectrometry. Contamination significantly different among species. Similar levels were found estuaries, except for D. vulgaris. Cu Zn concentrations ranged from 1.0 to 2.1 14 59 µg g -1 muscle dry weight respectively; while Cd Pb very low. The results indicate that migration off-shore habitats is associated with low export contamination, no particular estuary increases potential stocks. This knowledge utmost importance view ecological economical value these species their estuarine areas nurseries.
