摘要: The demand for biofuel pellets has increased considerably in recent years, causing shortage of the traditional raw materials sawdust and wood shavings. In this study, costs energy requirements production from agricultural were analysed. studied Salix, reed canary grass, hemp, straw, screenings, rape-seed meal, rape cake distiller’s waste. Four scales analysed, having an annual output 80,000, 8000, 800 80 tonnes per year. It was concluded that greatest interest Salix grass. They had competitive material acceptable fuel properties could be mixed with existing large-scale pelleting factories. Straw low but can cause serious ash-related problems should, as also is case avoided small-scale burners. Hemp high less commercial interest, while waste, meal higher alternative values when used protein feed. scale a crucial influence on costs. machinery much more efficiently plants, resulting clear cost savings. Small-scale pelleting, both static mobile, required cheap materials, labour long utilisation times to profitable. most cases, briquetting would commercially viable. use manufacturing air-dried crops generally no than moist material.
