摘要: It is well established that height influences the perceived character of men but very little evidence exists same exist for women. To investigate effects female on perception their character, we used a novel technique digitally altering two women depicted in photographs such targets appeared to be tall or short stature different participants. We asked participants rate each personal qualities and characteristics reflected instrumental/expressive distinction masculine/feminine stereotypes. Overall, were rated as more intelligent, affluent, assertive ambitious than shorter A perceiver-sex difference was found females highly expressive while raters did not.
